I'm trying to order a card but it's not working. Why?
There are a few reasons why a card won't order and it is generally because of the rules and requirements of what can be printed on a card and how many people can have.
We'll list the common reasons they fail and how you can fix that and get a new card sent to you.
Spaces in the name
If you put a space after the first or last name in the box, it will not allow you to order the card.
To fix this, make sure that you do not have a space at the end of the name in both
Note: you can put a space in between 2 first or last names (example: Michael John Smith)
Using a Number In The Name
If you use a number in the name of the card it will not allow you to order the card.
To fix this, either remove the number completely or spell it with letters. (example: 12 High St = Twelve High St)
Using a Name That Is Too Long
There is a limit of 17 letters for the first or second name. If the name is longer than this then it will fail.
To fix this, shorten the name or use initials
Not Using The Correct State Format
When you enter the state into the address box, you need to use the shortened version of the state and capitalise it.
To fix this, make sure you enter the correct spelling and capitalise the state.
State | Required Input |
Australian Capital Territory | ACT |
New South Wales | NSW |
Northern Territory | NT |
Queensland | QLD |
South Australia | SA |
Tasmania | TAS |
Western Australia | WA |
The Participant Already Has The Maximum Allowed Cards
Each participant can only have 2 active cards (1 participant and 1 supporter card). If you're trying to order multiple cards for the participant the system will not allow you to.
To fix this, you need to make the old or lost card inactive first and then proceed with the card order process. Here is a tutorial for making a card inactive.
Note: If you make a card inactive and order a new card, the old card is considered lost and will not be able to be used again.
