Unfortunately, the Supporter Card does not facilitate this because of the way the safety and accountability features work.
If you want to forego the safety, accountability and data features and are firm about wanting to make it possible for support workers to just pick up the card and pay then we recommend only ordering a participant card.
This means that any money added to the participant card will be available without needing a check out. Support workers will walk in and pick up the participant card and pay using it.
We caution against this though because it can lead to:
- Potential environmental restrictive practices
- Potential customer complaints
- Poor receipt compliance
- Complicated investigations of funds misuse
- No accountability of support workers
- Potential budget over spends

Order a participant card
As the Super Admin, order a "Card for the participant".
Support workers just pick up the card and pay
When you add money to the participant's wallet it will be available on the card. Support workers can now just take the card and go shopping without needing to login or check out the card.
Support workers login using the participant account
Support workers can now login using the login details of the participant account. These will be shared by all support workers who need to check the balance and upload receipts.
It is not a good practice to share passwords but we understand this occurs in providers currently.
You're responsible for support worker misuse
Because there is no way of identifying which support worker is using the card, your organisation will be responsible for any misuse or loss of the card that results in participant funds going missing.
