Add Your Participants

Why do I need to add participants?

Adding participants is central to the client funds management process. By adding them as a user you;

  • Reduce the risk of restrictive practices
  • No longer need to issue statements
  • Increase your transparency and trust as an organisation

Does every participant need an account?

A participant account is essential to;

  • Create wallets to hold money of a participant
  • Order participant or supporter cards
  • Issue 1 click statements
  • Manage Financial Management Plans
  • Give access to parents or guardians

What if the participant does not have an email?

If a participant does not have an email you can use an email alias in SpendAble. To do this, you need to create a unique user name and use it with an @spendable.com.au email.

Example: John Smith is a participant that does not have an email. A Super Admin can create the account as usual but when inputting an email they just [email protected] as the email.

What if the participant does not have a phone number?

You will use a company owned mobile phone number. Make sure it is in the correct format too (+61413849023).

What should I use for the username?

The username needs to be unique and cannot be the same as the email in the system.

Example: John Smith is a participant. His username could be john.smith543
